On to card #3!!
For this card I used a line designed by Christy Tomlinson. I love her designs...so bright and cheery!!
I also did some distressing and inking on this, which made it even more fun.
I did some fussy cutting on this card as well.
Do you like this one?

Hello Friends and Family!!
Hope you all had a happy Monday. :o)
Well I got my card challenge in right under the wire...with 2 minutes to spare!! He he!! I was very happy to have made the deadline.
I said I would come back and tell you what has been going on with me. I have been doing a little creating here and there...not as much as I would like, but a little. I have been doing a little organization...not as much as I would like, but a little. I have done a little thinking...not as much as I probably should, but enough for now to get started. :o)
My thinking is I would like to attempt a dream I have. I have a dream of being on a design team some day. To do that, I need to create on a very regular basis and get it posted on my blog. I need to do this for a minimum of 6 months, so I look like I am serious about my dream, before I apply to be on a design team. To achieve my dream, I need to seriously commit to my dream, and believe that I can do it. I would tell you, I am going to try...I will try my best and see what happens, which is what I always say.
But as Yoda says, "Try not. Do or do not, there is no try."
So I have decided to DO!!! I am going to make this happen. :o)
I have been wondering if I should make a new blog for this venture, or if I should keep my old blog. Scrapbook Mama is not a very sophisticated name...and there are several Scrapbook Mama's out there. What do you think, what is your opinion on this?
Tonight I am going to show you one of my new ideas I have used in organization in my scrapbook room. I am using a cupcake tier to put my glitter and sprays on. I think it is really cute. There are many styles and colors of cupcake tiers out there to choose from. Hopefully you can find one that will work for you too.
Isn't this cute? I removed some of the sprays so that you could see how cute it really is. As you can see, there is plenty of room on it to get lots of sprays and glitter up and out of the way.
It is getting late, so I am going to close up for tonight. Next blog, I will share some of my newest creations.
Sweet dreams.
Hugs to everyone.

I know it has been awhile since I have made a post....but this is going to be a really quick one. :o)
I have made a card for a challenge for Mojo Monday....and unfortunately for me, the deadline is in 10 minutes.
I hope you like it...give me some feed back if you would like. I used Graphic 45 paper, and the new Tim Holtz Distress Glitter. I really had fun making it.
I will blog tomorrow, and let you know some of my new upcoming plans and fun.
Love and hugs to you all!! :o)

New Class
Hello Friends and Family!
Today I am going to talk about another instructor I have found to take online classes from. Her name is Heidi Sonboul. You can find her here. http://www.heidisonboul.com
I had seen her work here and there, and had thought she was good, but it was not until the release of her new Signature Series Book, "Heidi Sonboul" that I became REALLY excited. I poured over every page...I have it in print and digital, and thought to myself, "She really gets it!" Her style is similar to mine, (but better of course). I love every page of that book, and she covered everything that I could ever want covered in a book.
Right after that I found out that she was going to offer classes. Hooray! Her classes cost a meager $2.00 each, or 4 for $8.00. These are so much fun and worth every penny. I love her blog and her work. I feel like she is not only an instructor, but a friend, as she shares her life and family on her blog also.
Her first class was called Layers and Layers. She taught us how to do layering in our layouts. I love layering, but she took it to a whole new level!
Here is a picture of my layout. I chose to do some more pictures of my sister Karen. She was fun and funny, and I miss her.
Look at all the layers in this layout...wow!
Heidi also taught us how to make our own flowers. I have one on this layout.
Here is a look at my journaling....I know it is hard to believe....on my layout.
I cannot encourage you enough to check Heidi out. You won't be disappointed, and you will have fun at the same time.
Hugs to everyone until next time.
Love Rhonda

Happy Summer!!
Summer is a great time for scrapping. It's so hot outside, and I can stay inside where it is nice and cool, and get caught up on my favorite passion, SCRAPBOOKING!!! :o)
For all of you that love this hobby also, I would like to remind you that there is no lack of inspiration online. There are so many classes, some free, some with a modest fee, where you can learn new techniques, and see the latest of what is going on with paper crafting. It is a great way to use up your stash, and if you are like me, you have plenty to use.
I am going to take the next several blogs to share some of the places online that I am frequenting for new ideas and plain old fun. So stay tuned!
The first place I am going to share with you is Camp Scrap, taught by May Flaum over at Big Picture Classes. I have been a big fan of May's for the past couple of years. She is so awesome, and her classes are excellent. She has over 40 projects to make at Camp Scrap for 4 weeks of classes. At a price of $29.00, this is a great value, and once you purchase this, you can have it forever. Big Picture Classes has so many awesome classes. I promise you there is something for everyone there.
I completed project one, which was about telling a "must tell story". I know we all have stories, or things we want to share, but if you are like me, getting your journaling done on a project is sometimes non-existent. We get caught up in the creative process and forget to put down our feelings or information pertaining to our pictures. I can tell you from experience, your family members will treasure the time you spend writing down the smallest of details, to hear your voice through your written words, long after you have gone. If this seems hard to you, May Flaum says to "pretend like a good friend is sitting next to you and say it out loud". That makes it much easier to put down on paper. I gave it a try, and it really worked!! Here is my creation from this weekend.
I scrapbooked and journaled a picture of my sister Karen. This was a picture of us together on her last visit here. I wrote about what that visit meant to me. It really was much easier to do than I had ever thought. I used some Heidi Swapp Color Shine on this project also, which was another new technique to try.
It was fun to use a doily too.
Can't wait to start the next project!
I will be blogging more classes for you to check on in my upcoming blogs.
Try to stay cool until next time!!!
Hugs
Rhonda
